Outstanding organization in combating COVID 19 in Kibera
12th August 2020 during International Youth Day, MAD Sisters was among the youth organizations acknowledged and awarded by Kibera Community Emergency Response Team in partnership with UNHABITAT, for their efforts towards combating COVID-19 in the Kibera Community.
Queen’s Young Leaders Award
Susan Mueni the Founder and Executive Director at MAD Sisters was awarded by Her Majesty the
Queen at the Buckingham palace in June 2016. This was at the Queen’s Young Leaders Award.
